my oversimplified post regarding leaks - my na8 has an NB soft top, seals up fine. no LBL.

I purchased an NB soft top from YanMa YatTai.

Top looks great, fair price, excellent transaction.

+1 trading rep :)

Bought HJTs NB top, whom helped me fit. Relatively straight forward, haven't been sure what to do with those straps!

Couple of wear points I only recently noticed on both sides near shoulder, trying to source the cause of this.

The wear points sound like a problem that is found with earlier NBs. Mazda issued a service bulletin, and where required, fitted different set plates. The service bulletin link shows where the wear points are.

Note that the new set plates have a 'hump' on them. This allows the NB roof to fold without being pinched.

The 2nd hand NB soft top and frame that I bought late last year, and just fitted, came with the new set plates.
