Check Engine Light

Postby asvi » Fri Apr 05, 2013 7:13 pm

Hey guys,

Bit of a silly question here but should my check engine light be lit up when my key is in the 'on' position?

It wont light up because you don't have a check engine light. They only came in around late 2003-04 for the NB's

OBDII didn't come in until the NB8C for MY03 (Sept 02 build onwards).

On a similar topic....

The NB8Bs also came with the fog light "On" indicator in the dash, even for Australian models. But they were never used on Australian delivered cars.

Teckno did a great write-up on how to wire it up and make it functional.
