And after reading that thread go get a compression test done and have a mechanic that knows mx5s go over your engine with a fine tooth comb. No point turboing it then finding out your rings are flocked or your headgasket is leaking etc as youll double up on labour atleast

What ever your budgeting time and money wise expect to probably double it ( unless your dann in which case half it )

Expect to be without a running car for atleast a week or two so factor that into costs.

If you go the route of buying a piece from here and a bit from there to save cash. Factor in that your down pipe probably wont line up with your turbo on its manifold and will need to be modified etc etc

Have a look at the avo kit or the begi kit or fm kit they might be more expensive up front than bits here and there but there is no hidden costs in installation
