Annoying shaking at idle

Postby asvi » Wed Mar 27, 2013 7:31 pm

Hey guys. This is my first post so sorry in advance if this is something that's already been asked before.

I have a 2001 NB8B and recently I've had a bit of shaking and vibration when sitting at idle at the lights for example but the revs stay steady at about 850. My temp gauge has been moving down and back up also a little by about 0.2-0.3 of a millimeter while also sitting at idle. Anyone had any troubles with this before? Any advice would be awesome.

Thanks guys.

Next time it happens, jump out and tap the coil pack at the rear of the motor.
Can happen at idle with a bad coil pack.
