Photo reminds me of my childhood days in Yorkshire, England. During the freezing winter months my Dad always had to check under the bonnet before starting the car because our cat had the habit of curling up in the nice warm engine bay

I've really neglected this thread recently, so to be useful i will answer this question.

dear god yes.
at idle at traffic lights, i can see my headlight beams vibrating all over the place hahaha.
the dash and door cards "hum" if you touch them.
so does the bonnet if you touch it.
but i really like it. The shifting feels really good and can be done very quickly without any problems.
I have never and will never consider NA's comfortable, so its really not a big deal to me, but there is definately an increase in nvh

How is the engine conversion going?

I have just done two 8" subs the same as yourself but mounted the amplifier on a piece of wood to the base of the boot with the spare wheel bolt and removed the spare wheel.

I've also changed my Arial to a jay car one, very good mod.

I have a alarm kit to go in and then I'll consider an engine swap.

Haha i really need to sit down and finish writing about it hey.

I just put central locking in aswell.
Whatever you do, don't use an electric immobiliser. it will fail eventually and you car wont start in a really inconvenient place.
Ask me how I know.

Awesome I wasn't planning on doing an immobiliser I also have a boot popper to install which I bought ages ago before reading your thread.

Basically everything you have done I was planning on doing or have already done.

I'd love to see the pics of the engine conversion once you put them up. I am thinking an engine conversion would be good or a super charger kit but I don't want to have to screw around replacing internals in my engine to do so.

Love your blog, everything has been done with practicality in mind, which I'm all for.

My sub install is probably quite dodge compared to yours, I'm impatient.

A bit of a different car than what you started with, and I think a bit of a different Emily than she was when she bought it.
