Any recent FIA seat is HANS suitable, this includes Sparco Sprints V. Would a group buy of HANS be worth it?

That's good to know.

A group buy would be good. They're not exactly cheap.
Cheers,

Same for me - until I get a full harness fitted I will be happy to get the support that the front of the helmet sits on - cheap insurance

So the list has:

Seat
Full harness
Neck support

When I saw the earlier post I went looking for a link to the place where I got mine, but I must have cleaned it out after I got it. IIRC I paid something like $300+ (less than $400) for a Stand 21 HANS - the $A was at its highest though. What I do remember is that it was a UK retailer.

A group buy would be worth it for the freight savings, mine came in a box big enough to take several, and they weigh little enough.

EDIT - found an email: http://www.merlinmotorsport.co.uk/p17018/STAND-21-CLUB-HANS-DEVICE/product_info.html?osCsid=ba823e7146b7a825fb6adbc60148e131

I may do a few enquiries and see what can be done. However most HANS devices use 2" shoulder straps so need to see if they are suitable to be used ith 3" or would the collar style be more suitable. Any advice would be appreciated.

It's your neck - literally - so not smart to rely on internet advice. Read the manufacturer websites. Give them a ring - that is what Skype was invented for.

Bargain. Already got mine bought, just waiting for it to turn up :D Will have to figure out how much modification the seat rails need too.
