Turning off the Bruce at Anzac Avenue, head east to North Lakes and after the 2nd set of lights is a BP with coffee shop. After that you can head west on Anzac Avenue through Kallangur and turn right at the water tower and follow Narangba road. easy.
Can't wait.

Good idea!! Only an extra 3-4km if that, chuck a u-turn at Torque Toyota and head west again! I'd get back on the Bruce and head north then take the Boundary Road offramp, saves having to tackle the traffic along Anzac Avenue west of the Bruce .. but, there IS a BP along that western part of Anzac Avenue but not sure if it has a 'wild bean' cafe

There's a BP on Old Northern Rd on the route I take from Jindalee. I think it has a Wild Bean thing. <20 km to Lakeside from there.

Shows you how unreliable the forecasts are! They last night predicted on the nightly news that the 7 day weekend weather will be 100% fine, much like today, so if the 28 day says high chance of rain, who's right? I'm keen to see what the nightly news think about Monday.

MINX in at Automotive Plus today for a tweak.

I have also been working on the cars stability , because most corners are right handers, i figure added driver weight must help cornering speeds :MOCHA_LES:

Thats great Roger
That should make 5 groups i guess, which will give us a few more minutes between runs for comparing notes

Five groups would be fine, if 48 you could manage with four but 1-2 are going to be fast!!

Looking good MINX, weather appears to be clearing by Wednesday just hope those cyclones hang to the north and 'Sandra' keeps heading SE!!

Fingers crossed for the weather and getting the car ready on time!

Hopefully we can run 5 smaller groups otherwise the difference in pace from the front to the back of the group coupled with the time taken to get the whole group out of the pits means the faster cars catch up to the slower ones too soon. As it was last time out I had caught up to the last guys out of the pits by lap 4. Also with regard to that could we consider letting the cars out of the pits with much less gap, possibly after the first or second run after people have had a chance to sort out where they fall in the group? If everyone could get into the right order we could go out virtually nose to tale and have very little passing...

Cheers,

Tim

Another option Tim, we could put 5 bags of concrete in your boot, and turn your boost down a couple of clicks :D
