Sneak in to the dodgy day early no problem I need to check with the organiser as to what time he said it would start from (and possibly finish time).

I'll try to get there early to fire up the BBQ.

I'll make sure it is ready for you to cook on, do you want the gas BBQ or the charcoal pizza oven style BBQ?

Magpie, the gas BBQ should do the trick.
I just hope a kg of Snags and bacon are enough to feed the early birds.

Feel free Kev05 I was planning on making a few pizza bases (on goose fat) for pizzas (creme fraiche, smoked salmon, capers, dill, Jarlsberg). The 'pizza' bbq is one of these http://www.barbequesgalore.com.au/products/product-view.aspx?id=20611 it is brillant!

Pretty sure corners will be bringing some special sauce, I'll bring a few kg. of wings. So if others bring a bit of snacks and drinks it'll be plenty.
I'll aim to be there around 9ish.
Dale, I've no idea the last time you've dríven the Gateway from GC to Brisbane airport, but with the two bridges and being a saturday, you'll be surprised how time-efficient you'll be. Safe bet that even if you drop mum off and leave at 1300hrs, you'll be at Magpie's around 1400hrs.
A little more than a week to go folks!

Just a bit of advice for the driveway where the dodgy day is, stick to the left hand side, recent rain has not been kind to the driveway.
