What would protect the car from the dent he'll put by laying on the roof? Or the bumpers by parking too close to other cars?

As for me, in my old place, I've always kept an old doona and an old sleeping bag (that fully zips open) in the garage, to quickly chuck on top of my car should I get caught out.

'Supercheap' has hail covers for around $230, four straps clip underneath - I have that ready in my garage as a 'just in case', can be done in 2 minutes - I also weight it down with a tyre front and rear just in case it gets windy

I think the brand is 'Autotechnica' - better than nothing and also have old doonas, mattress protectors etc in the garage

I find rather than having covers, doonas and sleeping bags in the garage to throw over the car in case of hail, that if I park the car in the garage it seems to work pretty well at protecting the car from hail.....

True Matt, but 4 into 2 didn't go last year and 3 into 2 still doesn't go!!

Getting a 'removalable' sail installed so I can just put it up when required
