I've searched and searched, but I can't seem to find a list of vehicle/driver requirements. I'm a first track virgin, so I don't want to get there and then find out that I can't go on the track.
Cheers

Andrew,
You will need to gget a CTP extension for the track day, just ask your CTP provider for one, and the event will be MX5 track day at Lakeside with a date of 18th March.
For yourself, neck to wrist to ankle clothing, preferably wool or cotton, no synthetics, good shoes and most importantly your helmet. Full face would be preferable.
For your car, just check fluids, an oil change maybe advisable, and if you haven't done it in a while, flush your brake fluid, and if the pads are down abit, replace them.
Depending on what tyres you have will depend on what you need to do. If they are worn and it is dry, all the better, just set your ppressures for the first run at around 28-30 cold, as you are a newbie you will be doing some sighting laps, when you come in adjust pressures to about 36psi hot, if road tyres, and adjust after each run.
For the admin side, get your forms from the Qld website and fill in before you get to the track makes registration quicker. If you need a licence, you can buy oneon the day, either a one day licence, or better value a 12 month licence for $55. You will also need a timing transponder, $20 to hire for the day or $80 to buy one. And don't foget your copy of the CTP extension for motorsport if the car is Qld regoed.
Then turn up on the day nice and early, just before 8, sign in register, quick check of car, go to drivers briefing and then have fun for the day.
On the ttrack, you will be given a session to show you the basic lines so you knoow where to be on the track and then ease yourself into the day, jsut get used to the track and the car on the track and the speed will come to you over the day, worst thing you can do is to overdrive the car.
In summary yoou will have a ball.
If you want any help, just ask on here and there will be plenty who can help, if you are near Ashgrove, I would be more than happy to run you through the car prep for the day, and I also have some wheels and tyres that would be pperfect for the track day, worn to just above the tread wear markers, so will be at their quickest for a road tyre.
