Finally an event that i can attend!!! ( as long as the work golf day is cancelled , which is likely)
So far every 1st Friday of the month has had something on, and the idea of a dodgy day sounds great! So i may finally be able to come down and meet some of my fellow Brisbane/Sth Qld MX5 enthusiasts and talk shop!!!!

Hey guys what do you think about also making it a bit of a swap meet?

I have quite a bit of gear in the shed I've love to part with!

Anyone else interested? If so I'll make a list.

I have no problems with the idea, heaps of room!

I somebody coming to the dodgy day wants a GV style front bar (fibreglass) I have one that they can have. It is not on my car because it was not a perfect fit, it has been repaired in places and has a crap paint job. Also have a standard NA rear sway bar, air box, front indicators, door handles, 4 x standard NA6 wheels and tyres.

Well in that case...

I have some Sebel horns with plug-in loom to suit NB8A, and a HID kit to suit NB8A (also plug-in):

IL Motorsport short shift kit to suit 5 speed:

TEIN 8kg/mm springs, only used for one track day, will suit any NA/NB TEIN coilover:

ARP bolts to suit earlier harmonic balancers (unused):

Also not pictured:

SE muffler with MAZDASPEED tip (will bolt up to any NB)
NB8A mid pipe with the cat knocked out

Hopefully someone can use this stuff!

for the dodgy day all bar the wheels can be taken for a gold coin donation, the wheels maybe a gold coin per rim and gold coin per tyre (open to negotiations). I also have a complete set of used NB8B discs again these can almost be given away on the day if somebody can use them. I can post some photos soon if there is any takers.

Let me know if you want the SE muffler in advance otherwise I won't arrange to bring it; it takes up the whole boot! :P

- front, lowered NB King Springs, very little mileage, less than 2,000km.
- rear NA bumper in red, repainted and in VGC except for small, unoticeable split in tail-pipe divet
- NA8 stub-axles
- RX-8 tyre valve caps
- RX-8 gear knob, and random gear knobs
- stainless steel muffler, 2.25"

....and whatever else I can find.

mmm, will have to check with the better half, but will be trying to make this, a couple of bargains could be had and also to assist in some dodginess.

you know my idea of turning up en masse? Actually... thinking about it some more... I reckon it will be more fun if she were to be greeted with MX-5 after MX-5 trickling in at 30 second intervals, over 10 minutes

Three more Saturdays to go!

Today I installed an APEXi Power FC standalone EMS and although it's not in an MX-5, some who've never experienced aftermarket EMS & tuning might be interested in seeing it's functionalities.

One easy thing we can do for NA owners that only require a timing light, and is easily reversible, is the good ol' timing increase in advance for that extra bit of torque. Free power.
