Nice coverage Kev - well done!
It has to be 'God's Country' up that way, so many good roads, so many great places to stop and have a bite!!
Everywhere you look there is an old extinct volcano!! [well, I hope they are extinct!]

Re: 2013 Photo Journey with QLD MX5 Club.
Well, the weather bureau has got it wrong again! What rain and overcast as I rise early to watch the 3rd round of the US Masters coverage on TV. Nothing but absolute sunshine without a single cloud in the sky.
Not wanting to waste such as fantastic weather ideal for open top driving. I decided to take the BGR NB out for it's final topless drive to the hill climb event in Mount Cotton. The drive at the start was great but as I got progressively roasted by the hot sun, the reluctant decision to get an expensive NB hardtop doesn't seen that bad anymore. Anyhow here are a few pictures I took at the hill climb event. There were a few familiar forum member's cars in the pit stop getting ready for their next run. Unfortunately I got carried away with the other cars and failed to take pictures of any MX5. On the contrary, I've taken a few videos of MX5s roaring through the hills but it is taking a VERY long time to upload.
Here are the pictures and the videos will be posted when they're ready...
In the pitstops.
A few familiar cars making their way to the start.
A few Lotus 7 and Caterhams at the start
A porsche 914
Videos to follow soon......

Day 3 : We boarded the Maclean river barge, visited Yamba and some coastal "Pippa" cafe.
Local environmental protester on mx5 emissions.
Apology for the water vapor on the camera lens. Didn't notice it until I started uploading the images.

Re: 2013 Photo Journey with QLD MX5 Club.
Another club run, the 7th for 2013.
Joined the Darling Downs group on a drive from Rangeville to Leyburn where we stopped for a break. From there we traced the route taken by drivers participating in their annual sprints event all the way to Warwick where we stopped for lunch at Sandy Creek Pub (also known as Darling Downs Pub). There was also a short detour to Leslie Dam for a few photoshots. Here are the pictures.
At the start - meeting in James Street Information Centre in Rangeville.
Morning Tea break.
The BRG beast with new HT.
Is this an MX5?
I've been told this is Shane Webcke's pub in Leyburn. Can anyone confirm it?
Leslie algae Dam?
More of the beast.
Finally - Sandy Creek Pub for lunch.
