Hi guys,
I have a set of Shockworks coilovers installed on my MX-5. They have improved the handling of the car immensely however I am getting a lot of very small bumps getting fed back into the chassis. Brett from Shockworks has suggested that the car needs to be stiffer to eliminate this and then he will retune the dampers accordingly. I was looking at getting either door bars or a butterfly brace however the door bars seem quite intrusive. Thus I have decided to get the butterfly brace from the US and send it back here to myself however I was wondering if I could get something similar made locally instead or if anyone knew a place that could fabricate it for me?
Getting a butterfly brace made locally?

Uhmmm.... making the chassis stiffer will only exacerbate this
Stiffer/sportier springs & dampers will always have a compromise.

Got your pm, if you were local (bris) I was going to give you a ride in a car with a butterfly brace. I have one, but don't think it made a huge difference in stiffness or bump absorption.
Depending on what your trying to do probably better of playing with suspension settings.
