Managed a 1:14:35 after an instructor sat in for a few laps, the video is with the instructor.
Interesting on the intake and engine bay temps on my best lap intake was 29 and engine bay was 81.5, however at times the eninge bay got up to 98.3 and the intake was up to 47.2. The higher intake was just after starting and highest engine bay after running a 15 min session. I'm still concerned about the oil temps as it is getting up to 110 however the water temp did not go over 98.
Suspension wise I wound everything soft and sufferred from understeer so after session 1 (fastest 1:17:19) settings were changed to a bt more siffness (more in the rear than the front). Session 2 fastest time 1:15:19. For session 3 front damper/rebound was 14/10, rear was 18/14 and understeer was slowly going away (quickest lap of 1:14:35). Session 4 front damper/rebound was 14/10, rear was 26/20 best time 1:14:54. However the brakes still have more to give, I need to trust them more.
Overall it was a good day and learning more about how the suspension interacts with the car and the way you drive it especially weight transfer when braking/accelerating.
