Re: My Black NB8A
Took advantage of a quiet Sunday arvo and gave the car a wash and a small photo shoot.

Re: My Black NB8A
Finally got some spare time to fit some of the pile of goodies I have stockpiled.
Got my RED tow hooks fitted .
Also a pic of the driveway today (brother was fitting shift light to RX-7 and dad was fixing an issue with the speedo on the Clubman)

Looking good.
Are you 300mm frt and 320mm rear from centre to arch? I think that measurement is a good compromise height.

Re: My Black NB8A
No idea, will run a tape measure over it tomorrow to check. I have the Eibach Pro-Sport springs which advertise a 35mm drop over stock but I never did a before/after comparison.

Re: My Black NB8A
Bootz- Ride heights are 310mm Front and 330mm rear. With the GV front lip I wouldn't want to go much lower.
Mazmad- SSprints will be dependent on budget. Winter can be very quiet work wise.

Re: My Black NB8A
Pete do the tow hooks stick out further than the front of the car? Might get defected if they do.
And they don't, if you do use them to tow you might damage the nose of the car with the angle of the tow-cable..??
That's why I went for the tow-straps. Just a thought

Re: My Black NB8A
Tow hooks are within the body lines of the car and would have to be used at a fairly radical angle to damage body work.

Re: My Black NB8A
Flurry of activity on the car today.
Torsen diff has been fitted, new front extractors have been fitted. Rest of the exhaust will wait until I have gaskets and bolts to hold it all together.
Also cleaning the filter on my mania intake and will order new rear discs.

The next MX5 club track day at SMP South in May.
Might do a SOTS day if finances allow.
