MX5 Club Run to and Parade at Bathurst for 12hr Race Feb9&10

Race Weekend - Bathurst 12Hr Production Car Race - Weekend of 9th to 10th Feb 2013.

An opportunity to join other MX5 and race car enthusiasts for weekend to the Bathurst 12 hour
Production Car Race.

Sat 9 Feb 2013 – 6.30am Meet at McDonalds Panthers Club Mulgoa Rd, Penrith

7.00am Sharp , Depart Panthers Club for Mt Panorama, Bathurst

9.15am Arrive at Mt Panorama, Bathurst

1.00pm Car Clubs Parade Lap

5.15pm Racing Concludes

7.00pm Meet at Kelso Hotel for Bistro Dinner

Sun 10 Feb 2013 – 6.15am Meet at Mt Panorama Car Park for Club Cars

7.00am 12hr Production Race Starts

11.00am Meet at Car Park for Lunchtime Tour to Orange, NSW

3.00pm Return to Mt Panorama for 12hr Race conclusion.

7.00pm Racing Concludes

This event requires a minimum of 10 cars to attend to qualify for the Car Clubs Special which includes:

* 3 day Entry pass at No cost to the owner of the vehicle. Partners/Passengers require a will have to buy their own 3 day pass at a cost of $50 through Ticketek. Alternatively they can purchase entry tickets at the gate for $35 per day.

* The opportunity to participate in a parade lap on Sat 10 Feb 2013 at 1.00pm.

Suggested Accommodation is available at the Kelso Hotel Motel from $85 double per night.

OK I can only do the Saturday so will head home in the afternoon but indicate if you are a Saturday or weekend contender
Less than 10 - do we go ? Yes / No

I'd love a high Res shot of my car at Bathurst when the track was all dressed up, wouldn't you ?

Come on - there must be more drivers out there that would like to drive in front of a crowd at Bathurst ? just a couple more and it's free and an experience you will never forget.

The drive out there and back, for sure!

The parade lap around the track on Saturday - Joe is organising this trip, best to call him directly (he said he won't be checking this forum too often). I am not sure if it is limited to 10 or if that was the minimum.

10 cars was the minimum we needed to qualify for the club entry, so it's great to see that we'll be able to go ahead. More cars are very welcome. Please contact Joe so that he can arrange the paperwork.
