Squeaks and rattles?

Just had this kit of foams and felts delivered to try and fix a few of the squeaks and rattles.

Lots of different thicknesses and densities to fix almost anything.

My first thought was "That's amazing!" then I guess you haven't owned an Alfa? Haha!

Squeaks and rattles used to drive me crazy! Then I had a couple of Italian cars in my possession, and owned a couple of Alfas...imagine the sensory shock I had coming from a "hewn from granite" Golf.

Yeah, NC owners would be aware of the rattles in the soft top latch cover and on the covers either side of it
as well as the buzz that sometimes happens in the rear parcel shelf after an exhaust system is fitted.
All gone now

i have this annoying squeak coming from stereo rubbing on the body. More noticeable when the car dash heats up

I'll look at it one day

I'd imagine the NC would have the least amount of squeaks compared to an NA or NB.

I will too tomorrow, been driving me nuts for 12 months....... but only between 2,500-3,800

Looked at how pull the parcel shelf out but looks too ugly
