NC2 exhaust suggestions wanted

Postby Jitag » Wed Jan 30, 2013 5:32 pm

I'm looking to give my NC2 a third birthday present as soon as it comes out of warranty. I want to make it breathe a bit better and sound a lot more like a sports car, but not at the expense of any roadworthy or insurance issues in Victoria. I'm not in a position to do any of the work myself, so I'm looking for suggestions as regards both what to get and have done, and where to go. The budget may be an issue, but I don't want to influence any suggestions by announcing a limit yet. Thanks, Jitag.

Change the rear muffler.
As my wife said " Now it sounds like a sports car"

If you contact Dave (Parts Manager) tell him I said that you can have it for $895.00 plus shipping.

I have a Kakimoto Regu muffler for sale, in pristine condition for a very good price.

PM me if your interested.

Sounds fantastic and isn't overly loud like a lot of them.

Thanks very much Danny. Sorry for the slow reply. I've been talking to VicRoads & my insurance company, who have finally agreed that it will be fine. I will contact Dave in the next couple of weeks after I've arranged with my mechanic to be able to accept the new sections then install them.

I'll let you know how it goes after I have had it done in mid March, which is when the warranty runs out.
