Re: MX5 CLUB OF QLD TRACK DAY 21 JANUARY 2013
Tomorrow is the day!!!
1.5mm of rain in almost 6 weeks and what do you know? I think it's about to rain here!!
Much drama at home a few hours ago when I glanced and saw the cat playing with a piece of rope!! I DONT HAVE A BLOODY PIECE OF ROPE!! It was a 3-4ft red bellied black SNAKE!! I yelled at her to get away and ran at her, others in the street heard me and soon 10-12 with shovels, brooms etc chasing it, found it finally in a hedge right next to my garage!! Now in several pieces in the bin! That's four now in the few days within a few houses and I've been here almost 6 years and never seen one!!
So the bloods still pumping and I haven't even started the first run yet!!
SEE YOU ALL THERE!!

Jeez, Roger. Leave the things alone next time. They won't kill you and the vast majority of bites occur when people try to chase or kill them. It is also illegal to injure or kill any wildlife in Australia.

Re: MX5 CLUB OF QLD TRACK DAY 21 JANUARY 2013
What Roger meant to say was that "he mentioned that his hedge needed some work and the next thing he knew was that there were 10-12 people all brandishing shovels and willing to help. In the process of the hedgework, someone noticed that a snake had accidentally been killed in the process by one or more of the over-enthusiastic gardners".

Hey Roger aka St Patrick of Bribie,
That was a great dice in the last session. I could see you slowly closing in but can't believe how consistent the times were for both of us. All in the 1:10s.
You: .69; .10 ftd; .45; .74; .62
Me: .63; .61; .71; .53; .48
Fantastic day. Even if I did destroy a tyre.

So did it rain at all?
We got some showers in the city, enough to make Lakeside that little bit more "interesting".

That last run was awesome!! Almost nose to tail but I didn't think if I got too close that i'd be able to stop, couldn't get round so stayed back and loved it!! Perfect set of 10's!! I was on a very light fuel load then and the humidity was down so the car felt much better! I did back it off a little so maybe had I started a little later I could have got into the 69's but happy all the same!! Thanks for a great run Adam

Absolutely NO rain!! A few of us headed off after close up and met up at the BP Northbound Burpengary, I had to stop at Narangba and put the roof up, misty but nothing serious!! Total dry track and both Charlie_91 and Tim got into the 59's!! Awesome stuff from both of them .. Well done Charlie & Tim
Four groups and six runs in 3.5 hours!! Only the one 'off' that I saw, so an overall good day!

I'll swap, your tyre for a front Rad, fan, bumper and intake. Still push hard and run out of talent and these things happen.
Bloody good day around, thanks for the help getting my car onto the trailer.
Cheers

You rang?

I trimmed down the duplicates to make it slightly easier to find shots, so it's only got 712 photos in it.
