Hi
The underneath of the TB sensor has a vacuum outlet which connects to where?
I've got an NB in a clubman and can't find where it should connect to.
Cheers

Re: Throttle body sensor NB 2001
Just had a look at a 1999 NB8, but TB is different by the sound of it.
If the 2001 NB8 TB is like the 1993-1995 NA8 TB, then there's a 3/4" diameter air pipe which goes to the black plastic intake pipe which runs across the front of the motor (1999 TB doesn't have this). Btw, NA8 motor won't run with this pipe disconnected from intake & just sucking air.

Re: Throttle body sensor NB 2001
the TPS is the only sensor that is attached to the throttle and it has no lines connected to it.
both have a idle air controller, the na8 version comes from a seperate pipe from the main intake pipe and the nb8 version is built inturnal taking in just before the butterfly.

Without a photo it's difficult to tell.
My guess (for what it's worth) is that it's probably a water hose connection for the hoses that run to the thermostat housing and to the oil cooler behind the filter.
