Qld MX5 Club Driver Training day at Morgan Park

Qld MX5 Club Driver Training day at Morgan Park

I have booked the Morgan Park track on Saturday 12th May, which I have just realised is Mothers Day.

Have had a trickle of applicants, is Mothers Day the killer ?

There is another date on Saturday July 27, is that a better date ?

I would attend however on 12/05 and 27/07 I'll be at work. Note 27/07 is also QR's Lakeside time attack practice day.

I suspect that the "lack of interest" at this time is more due to the advance notice, a lot of people can't/won't commit this early which really makes it hard for you to organise.

I'm coming regardless of which day you end up using, last year was a great event and I suspect you'll get a lot of repeat attendees this year.

I've been meaning to call you Jeff, but I'm keen for the 12th May. My mother is used to me being at McLeans Bridge on mothers day, so she will survive if I do this instead!

p.s, 12th May is a Sunday, not Sat :)

I have a friend who would be peachy keen to come, but yeah Mother's Day might be the kill-joy.

When do you require numbers by? I will mention tomorrow at MX5 Plus Awards Presentation if you aren't there

Matt

Take the wife, buy her a pie with sauce at Aratula and then get a FREE cuppa at the Gladfield 'Driver-Reviver' [comes with TWO biscuits!!] and all's good! Maybe a bunch of wilted 'servo' flowers will finish off the day for her!!

With the roof down the flower petals will blow off but she will be so happy clutching that bunch of stalks in the silver paper with the $7.99 sticker still attached!!

As far as I know I am confirmed for the 12th and there isn't much scope for change with the number of days Morgan Park is used for various race and sprint series.

I'm allpaid up ad booked in and haven't heard anything different so will be assuming it's on. Might be best to touch base with Joel at SDT to make sure if you want.

Yep, also paid up and looking forward to it. It's all go, hasn't been cancelled or anything silly like that. Sign up, pay, and count the sleeps!

Car won't be ready :(

This was a great day last year so if you're still undecided, don't be, it's a great day out on a different track with great instructors.

If you've never been on a track before, this is a fun way to do it with no pressure at all.

I can't seem to find details of it on the club website? Maybe I'm just blind?
