I miss my SP

Gday all! Name is Melvin. I used to own an MX5 SP - black with plates MLV11N. I miss her heaps. Sold her 2 years ago to a guy named Vic. Not sure if he's in this forum.

I tried logging in again under my old login but lost my password. I'm here to ask for a favour please...

I'm getting married on Saturday 23rd February 2013 (next month!!), and was hoping, if possible to round up a mix of MX5's (up to 10, SP's or NC's especially would be nice but also welcome NA's) to the wedding venue (private property at Kenthurst) as part of my photoshoot. The actual Ceremony starts at 11am which we're aiming to finish by 11:30 and photoshoot to run between 11:30 and 12:30.

There will be dedicated parking for your cars with people assigned to direct you. It'd be great if some could even volunteer to drive myself and my 3 groomsmen from Quakers Hill.

Im free on the 23rd Feb, I can bring my NC along if you wish. Im sure we can get some more attendees

Your vehicle has changed a tonne but its in safe hands.

As mentioned above Victor still owns it (badbong).

I think I'm free on the 23rd and have my SP available, its not the best car for a gentleman in a suit but ill help when possible. I'm sure if Victor is free he would not object to dropping by.

changed a tonne indeed! blown away from the pics and the quick skim of information! i could tell vic was a fan but didnt expect he'd do this much. if only i had a greater capacity then to do all that! haha. GREAT JOB!!

thank you guys as well for obliging so early. if anything i would love to pay you guys back for your petrol, when i return from my honeymooon, if possible. which will be 1st week of march.

Mate, it's posts like this that puts a smile to my face. I also wish that one day I can find the owner of my 'NiMo' and go for a ride for memories sake.

Melv, first off - congratulations!

I'm free on the 23rd Feb and I'm happy to give you a ride from Quakers Hill and stick around for the photo-shoot. However, I won't be able too long so if there is a dinner event then you'll need to organise alternate transportation.

My only question... is whether you are okay if we come in smart casual or just something less than a full blown suit?

Shall we start a list to see who's in for this?

1. Regie (Silver NC) - Photoshoot (+ groomsmen transportation?)
2. Hjt (Silver NB SP) - Photoshoot (+ groomsmen transportation?)

Since we'll need to get our cars sparkling clean for this anyway. Would the people who are putting their names on the list also be interested in:

(A) Small detailing evening the night before? and
(B) Photo-shoot after the wedding at another scenic location?

in the case that more people want to join in, I can easily accommodate 15, possibly 30 max but i'll measure the grounds again and confirm.

and yeah Dave all NB's welcome! SE's especially!

oh and yeah it'll be until 12:30 or before. soon as the photograph's are done.
in terms of outfit, smart casual will suffice.

just thought to confirm #3 BadBong... if that's Vic, am i right to assume that it's Black and not Silver? if that's correct, then 1 Black SP, 1 Black NC, 1 Silver SP and 1 Black SP... would make for a great entourage! and everyone else to follow! or meet at the Wedding Venue...

Guy's in light of it being a special event, and Melvin with your approval of course, why don't we get get Dressed up in honor of the Bride and Groom ? We're all Barge Racing Team Members so I'm suggesting that we all wear our racing suits in honour of the occasion. I have 2 spare if we're short.

Also, Do you want us to run white ribbons ?
