Washed, removed as much of the track rubber and tar as I could find and sprayed on Aquawax during the rinse and dry cycle and then detailed the interior a bit. Checked brake pads for next season - looks like I need some new fronts again soon.

Love that feeling, first time I did mine it came up better than the first day, but it was a used car, so to be expected.

Today I figured out some tuning stuff (Adaptronic) and had the car running better, I'm still learning and very much a n00b, and will try more stuff tomorrow.

Replaced my cracked dash with a good 2nd hand one with no cracks. First time I've removed/replaced the dash and it only took six Hrs all up. :D

Today opened roller door and walked in and closed roller and next minute all I heard was crash bang and thought what the.....Walked back and looked over at MX5 and here the wind gusts sent some plywood and the new XMAS ladder of on the MX5. OH shigger . Went over and looked and stood the ladder back up and along with plywood and lifted car cover and now my MX5 is sporting a couple of dents just below the auto antenna..... Mmm well at least it didn't cracked the paint. So if I'm lucky a visit to Dent Rat for a repair... ..slightly not a modification that all want to do....
Cheers

Bugger, at least that part of the car should be easy for a paintless dent remover to access.
If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.

I'm always afraid of that sort of thing happening in the garage, so I rigorously test everything for stability (by shaking the object and making sure it stays). In an ideal world there should be one garage for the car and another for all the usual rubbish.

If your garage is 2 doored: I always just ensure that at least 1 door is closed so there's no chance of wind.

I've been tracking my car for 7 years now. It has 4 little dents in it, every single one from things or me falling on it in the garage. Track is safer than garage.

I cleaned the window switches yesterday. It's becoming an almost annual event. Windows now go up again.

And then a cyclone comes along and collapses the garage on your car.

Thanks, I'm going to have nightmares of that now!

In other news, I've switched insurance companies in anticipation of some light modifications.

With two laps to go then the action will begin, unless this is the action, which it is.
