A little down force.

In preparing for this years competition, eleven [11] of us travelled up to Tewantin to K1 Race Gear to get measured and purchase racesuits this morning.

We met at Mark's home at Buderim and proceeded via Nambour, Yandina, Cooroy, then across towards Noosa and up to the location. It was like a 'mini' MX5 run with 6 MX5's cruising plus a couple of other makes. I had Mark with me in the NA but Brian was concerned I was stuck in 3rd gear and going too slow!! Even a Jeep towing a caravan passed me - I WAS doing the limit of 110kph!!

Bill & Paul, Richard and David, Mark, Steve, Matty, Brian, Adam, Malcolm and myself. Sharon looked after us, allowing us to try all sizes and with the exception of 2 all were in stock, the others will be here within a matter of days

Stinking hot and humid day for all, whilst I have air in the NA I think it needss a re-gas!!

Entries are looking excellent for Monday 21st, 23 paid up and at least another 6-7 have said they are running, so overall we should finish with 35+ for the day - WELL DONE TO ALL!!

If anyone has any questions, please post them here and someone will provide an answer within a matter of hours

They keep forecasting rain Charlie but it doesn't happen!! It's like a desert up that way now, so best see what it's like on the day

Not sure Charlie, it happened at the last one November '12, depends on how much time is left and also I believe up to QR Staff - maybe JBT can clarify that

I know a few more will leave it to the day to enter, but if you are thinking that way please email Mark our Competition Secretary, even if you aren't sure so he has an idea and can prepare his worksheets

Fresh corner balance and alignment tonight- many problems made at least a lot better if not fixed. Totally different car!
