I'm not agreeing with you on the "wont make a difference" mr m, but a globe with a coloured tint or chrome glass finish (as aftermarket it is) can and does make a difference to the colour of its housing/reflectors..
Where i live, in the land of bogans, there are many vl commodores that roam the streets, many with p plates and many with coloured condoms over the parker globes or tinted blue bulbs in the headlight housings (blue tint for that "white" look when on, yes inverted comas) the entire reflector is hued toward the bulbs colour (obviously when the globe is not powered on) It's more then noticeable in daylight, and very apparent when the vehicle is facing toward direct sunlight..
Changing the globe to a tinted type, even sticking in blue coloured cellophane scrunched into a stick shape and wedged into into the globes hole will EASILY test if the NB's reverse section pink hue changes. If it works, great, if it doesn't, then more drastic changes would be in order should the OP choose to accept that mission.
