Not really chasing Engine swaps etc this time around

Just good tyres, brakes and lots of fun.

I have looked at that ITB clio on OZrenaultSport.
Very tempting list of mods on that car.

Heart says yes but brain says wait a second... KEEP IT SIMPLE STUPID!!!

Ok, I am back in Sydney and time for the NA to go.

Just did a round trip of about 700ks using the car and had zero issues besides the cold start/low idle each morning for about 30 seconds till it warms up slightly.

Just gave it a quick wash to get the road grime off and only had my phone with me.
Here are a few pics.

I can take some with a real camera if anyone wants.

I now have a glass NB softop with demister to install. I just need to attach a rain rail that i have and bolt it all in.
The soft top appears to be in reasonable condition with one patch due to a cut.

Soft top installed

$4500 with SE Brakes.

Extra $800 for Hard Top.

Day One impressions,
MX5 is built better.
MX5 is more fun.
MX5 is Dead Slow

Seriously, this thing brings a smile everytime i hear that Engine go nuts.
Will be interesting long term, but i am happy at the moment.
Need a real track adventure to test it out.

I can still play with you guys though, right??? :cry:

Basically this is my car now.

If the rear does swap around on me, is it not then RWD :roll:

Going to give Stu a call at Spinning Wheel tomorrow and see what he suggests for an alignment.
