Blood Red Candy NA Respray

Postby belsar » Tue Jan 01, 2013 9:22 pm

Hey guys,

Thought I'd chuck up a couple of photos of the latest work to my NA.
The colour is by DNA paints. Called Blood Red Candy.

pretty crappy photos. I'll get some better pics at some stage.

Nice! 8)

I've always been a fan of the candy apple red type colours, yours looks so deep you could dive in.

If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.

I for one love those mirrors. If I wasn't so adamant in keeping my NA8 stock, I'd fit them on myself. Though I'd have the ones with shorter arms like these:

That colour reminds me of the burgundy colour of my '91 Honda Integra. I loved that colour.

More photos are coming - Probably doing a great ocean road run this weekend, so I'll get some pictures along the way... if the heat subsides anyway.

I'll probably put a proper thread up in the garage section - I just wanted to chuck an initial photo up after I'd picked it up (I was bouncing off the walls like a pill popper at a rave)

It was done by a friend of mine at a local bodyshop in Ballarat. He did it in his down time - so it took about 8 weeks to turn around - but ended up costing 4500 for the whole job.
