Christmas timeee!
Came home from work after a terrible day on Friday to find this under the tree!!
Image
Please note the tree is actually white, not pink

After cleaning the kitchen and making my missus dinner, I convinced her to let me play! Here is the result 8-)

Sorry for the poor quality of photo and the messy car :( haha.

Also got notice this week that my coil overs shall be ready early next year, so I've started to look around for wheels.

I have no clue what to get :)

Im eyeing off some 15x8's with +25 offset from Goodwin, but I have no idea of shipping costs. The rims themselves are about $100each. A few different styles, but the ones I really want are 13.4 pounds.

Im open for discussion about tires aswell, wouldn't mind some Federal 595s unless i'm convinced otherwise ;)

Shoot me ideas, people!!!

Edit: Shout-out to Dweezle as a thanks for selling me his lovely seat :D

konig wheels you can buy in Australia you dont need to buy overseas. the shipping would be killer.

I've been looking at these

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/15-KONIG-FLA ... _802wt_689

When I compared with Goodwin, local was cheaper. Mind you, I can pick them up avoiding all shipping costs... Being interstate it may be the same Price either way for you.
My current wheels are Konig wide opens in said fitment and I lve them to bits.
So lets go!

How much did you have to roll the guards? I was looking at the Flatouts on ebay last night :D. I will definitely buy local if I can, but it'll just come down to whats available when I have the money. I'm keen for the black/polished lip look, hence why I'd like the wide opens :)

Goodwin quoted $94 shipping per wheel. So it will be a TAD cheaper than buying local....but I'd also have to wait longer :(

What tires are you running?

New plates!! :D I've been waiting a few months for these, and very happy with how they look. I do need to fabricate an offset bracket for the front one and maybe lower the back one a bit.

When i got my black slim line number plates i stuck black insulating tape to the back of the number plates over the pre-drilled holes that were not being used. That way it hid the body colour showing through and made the number plates look even better!

That is an excellent idea! I've started one side, but I'll finish the rest once I've got the brackets sorted out.
I think I'm just going to buy a front offset bracket from Pham and fabricate something simple for the rear.

Bored at work, so I thought I'd update my Garage.

Since last posting here not much has changed but here it goes.

1 - Purchased an offset bracket for my front rego-plate from http://www.omgpham.com
2 - Purchased my second-hand coilovers = Racing Logic Ultra-Complex.
3 - Once coils were in, got 4 brand new RE001's fitted at a brilliant price. Also got my height finalized, wheel alignment and my camber adjusted.
4 - Purchased an OEM wind blocker, which was a pain to install. Had to make a few holes, but in the end it turned out fine! Due to me having a tower brace installed I had to work around that.

My plans for the next six months include:
1 - New clutch and a lightened flywheel. My clutch has started playing silly buggers with me, so I figured I'll just replace it instead of waiting for it to die and also throw a lightened flywheel in while I had everything out.
2 - Second Sparco Sprint V....I hate not being symmetrical.
3 - New exhaust and extractors ect.

She just clocked over 180,000k's, I've already done 12XXXk's on her!!!!!! I feel bad :(

I've nearly had her for a whole year now, wow time flies when you're having fun!
I'm planning on doing a short story about my first year owning a roadster, so keep your eye out for it!
