So my SE gets engine oil in the Intercooler, throttle body etc when pushing hard on the track. Just a bit, never have to top it up.
It is a well documented issue with MSM Miata's in the US, and its because of the catch Can design and the oil travelling up and through it to the airbox under high G cornering, aided by the suction of the turbo.
Now has any one tried this solution, as I can't seem to find anything on it???

Sounds like what I need.
I am not willing to put a 2nd catch can or aftermarket one in, prefer the standard look.

Luke, Moto East does a check valve kit to stop the oil and the pressurising of the petrol tank

Because if it's sucking oil out of your sump via the return feed then eventually the oil level will drop and the engine will be b0rked.

Theres no chance it can suck oil out of the sump, it collects oil fumes and condenses them back into liquid and sometimes it spills into the intake system as a fluid rather than gets sucked in as a gas.
If you check your oil it is fine.
All factory cars vent the block this way.

I found this post interesting, but perhaps there were other factors at play ..

The obvious solution is to remove the drain back and add a slash cut.

Yup i've seen that page and they're now selling the kits with a slightly different (wider) hose that's meant to be easier to install.
If you put the car on stands and remove the drivers side wheel you might be able to get in there ok.
