Double Din fitment

Postby miatas76 » Thu Dec 06, 2012 3:50 pm

Hey all, is it only the NA8 tombstone that will fit a double din stereo flush?

It was cheap and easy to put a new NA8 one on my Eunos Roadster.
If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.

Yup same here. Easy & cheap upgrade and looks much neater than NA6 tombstone.

Used ones come up, or buy new from MX5Plus is what I did.

As others have pointed out you want a NA8 tombstone, but make sure it is from a later NA8. I believe it needs to be from a '96 or '97. My '94 NA8 tombstone was identical to the NA6.

Aha thanks Jeff, will hopefully head out to MX5 plus to see what they've got...

I really should start a garage thread for the little red jellybean...

Learn something every day! I didn't know that it was only the later NA8's that had the double din/recessed tombstone ....
