Ha $150 ea is what Chatswood beaurepairs wanted to charge me for ku31's lol.
I went to Tempe tyres today and got some 195/50/15 KU31's :)
I wanted 205's but they were quite abit more; the 195's fit perfectly on the 7" fronts and are a tiny bit stretched on the 8" rears.
$90 ea fitted and balanced was pretty good I thought.

Guards are being rolled on Sunday, will put the bilsteins and wheels in on Sunday arvo :)

Clear Front Lights
So I got rid of the TSI's. They looked ok, but didn't really suit the BRG/tan theme :/
But I still hate the oem orange lights, and mine were leaking anyway, so I picked up some clear ones from eBay.

They came with USDM wiring and dual filament bulbs, so when the parking lights are on, they glow orange, and when you indicate they flash a brighter orange. Cool but a bit confusing to other drivers, kinda looks like you have the hazard lights on all the time haha.
So I grabbed some funky "chrome" orange globes. Mirrored finnish when off, orange light when on.

They look soo much better, freshens up the front alot!
new on left, oem on right

I've looked at those on ebay for mine as my bulbs are only held in with silicon! The fitting cavity on the lights themselves have melted, common problem I believe.

There's several different ones on ebay. Who'd you get these ones off? Couldn't tell, but as they are single bulb, did you have to change any wiring to fit them or are they PNP?

Looks much better!!!

I actually got these off eBay USA and shipped to a hotel where a relative was staying and they brought them back for me in their luggage, but as far as I can tell all the lights seem to be the same.

Unfortunately not really PnP :(
America doesn't have separate white Parking lights like we do in the corners of our oem light housings. These came an orange globe that has 2 filaments and 2 trigger wires, so it's orange for Parking lights and orange for indicators. I doubt that would pass rego check here.
I already relocated my parking lights to my clear front reflectors, so I don't have a problem, passed rego check today actually so I'm all good.

Would be cool to maybe get a group buy going of these, wouldn't be hard to dremel a little hole for some Parker globes.

Astina Cam cover
Sprayed black and sanded the letters clean.
Was very easy to do and looks great now!
Matches my awesome Maruha adjustable cam gears

Guard Rolling
Went very smoothly with no issues, I am very pleased with the outcome! I was worried about the paint cracking off, or the edge rippling, but a heat gun worked a treat.
Had to take the 3 top bolts out of the front splash guards, but other than that no dramas!

OEM V Special Floor Mats
So for some reason my car was missing these, it had the Roadster ones instead.
These were given to me a birthday present by my best friend, seriously best present ever

The plaque was a bit rough so I repainted the letters with some BRG enamel.
I am very pleased with how they look.

Hey I think I saw you at mania on Monday I think picking up a clutch, I didnt know who you were untill I just read this thread lol. Very impressed with your skills!

Do you live near Mt Druitt? I live in Plumpton lol, the car is always garaged and im really paranoid about leaving my car even for a few minutes (I never leave my car - ever!)

Also, are you studying at Sydney Uni? I am too if you are.

Haha yeah got my clutch, it's pink! Clearly extra kw's right there.
No I don't live around there, that's where I bought the car from though, it got severely damaged in attempted break ins twice in 6 months.
I would get a hardtop if I was you haha.
Yeah I'm at Sydney uni.

Don't think the mazdaspeed extractors are the same as maxim works I'm afraid look to be different lengths, join angles and thicker weld beads.
