PS. for god's sake tint the rear lights and third brake light black.

I agree with the brake light comment, I smoked my clear rear brake light using VHT NiteShades:

- matches the number plate and still lights up well when braking (I think I used 3 very light coats).

I agree on the centre brake light, the tail lights are actually tinted! IL Motorsport had a clear and a smoked option.

Didn't show up very well in that photo though:

Car now has the proper plates on, and the MX5 plus bracket is back up the right way.

Attended the inaugural Brisbane Photoshoot Run tonight for a bit and managed to get the opportunity to shoot in the kind of light conditions I've wanted to do for ages, thanks to CaptainNate! (Minx having a photo session in the background)

Have to agree with Minx's comment. Original RH makes the SE.
Though they may not be the best for performance.

I have removed the 6ULs nod rocking the REs for the moment..

Waiting for boots to the nuts comment. Haha

Car got her first detail today, had to get rid of overspray on the boot & bonnet (gritty feeling when using microfibre cloth), decided to stick with the evening theme for the photos.

Wash, dry then 3 passes with R.O polisher, Meguiars Ultimate Cut for the worst of the overspray, and Poorboys SSR 2.5 for the lesser ones.
Followed up with Meguiars Deep Crystal Carnauba Wax, then Zaino Z2 for the final pass, followed up by another wash & dry.

I'm pretty sure that by now my neighbours think I'm completely insane, but I reckon it's worth the 4 and something hours I spent on it - and the bonus is that I finally have the kind of shine I've seen on other's cars!

I am so jealous of your flawless bonnet, mine was ruined by a tree branch and has never recovered.

Only kind of car related, but the Samsung Galaxy SIII 4G comes in "Titanium Gray" for the Ti MX5 people out there.

Was due for a phone update, so this was the only option!

I've been called tragic for this choice, but I was after an SIII anyway, was thinking black but saw the above and my mind was made up!

Bling added - didn't think chrome was the way I was going, but with the chrome AEM intake and FM throttle body it just seemed right.

Yes, I skipped the top washers, couldn't get the bloody things to stay centred when tightening the bolts.

Stickers... Must. Have. Stickers!

The car has a name, and it will shortly have name badges.

Small stickers will go at the bottom of the 1/4 windows on each side.

Came up with the idea and thought I'd ask MX5 Mania if they would allow the use of their font so I could get Maniac stickers made up - and here they are!

Huge thanks to Ajay for doing this up for me!
