Not the quickest session, but i have 2 sessions like this. Should have had the rear camera on. I will get brendan to edit them and upload them properly.
But it shows how these guys are having trouble outrunning a low powered car such as mine.

I like this compare. Because you have a lighter front wheel drive high horse power car, a big 6 cyl turbo car, and an all wheel drive turbo car. All 3 completely different. All I need is the power to get down the front straight. I am doing 170 coming onto the straight after the last corner. And it only picks up 30km/h by the time I reach the end. And in the Arvo, I was only picking about 15km/h due to the head wind.

Great work! Can't believe they complained about you blocking! If the just followed your lines etc for a lap or two they may have learnt something and been well quicker and seen no issues.
So lets go!

the crx was fast in a straight line, doubt it was stock. he was understeering a fair bit, left foot braking to get the grip!
well done Dave, that ford was all over the shop mid footage.

Was about to say, what's done to the CRX? It just pulls away from you.

It is a built motor. He told me about it, the car was vtecing at 7200, and then hammering. The thing revs. And it weighs about 100kg's less. The guy driving it used to race professionally. They are a tiny car. But i will stick with rwd.....

I wonder what engine was built in it, my brother had the same model, stock but stripped it was as quick as a 2005 integra euro with a k24.

awesome video - thanks for sharing.
It's amazing how quick the honda's can be. There are pretty much kits to bolt in the type r b series motors or k series. I was looking for a dc2R, but got the 5 because it was considerably cheaper....
As you said, such a good mix of cars to compare it too. I take it you were running the aero?
Curiously, do you know the experience that other drivers have?

They are Kevlar lined on the inside. Look closer, that is not my skin colour..
I was running the areo.
The experience of the other drivers. Well, I do know the guy in the crx is a regular track day guy. And actually raced touring cars.
The guy in the evo must consider himself as a good driver, as he runs in nsw sprints. And made the effort to come to p.I to run his car.
The xr6, not sure. But it looked like a dedicated track car.
I have another similar session but with commodores. And those guys are at p.I all the time.
