I'd love to take ny NA out to Lakeside one day just to do aa few laps and see how it goes, turns well and has awesome acceleration, far more than the NB!! 4000rpm and above it just takes off!! Just hate to do any damage thru getting too enthusiastic, but then I'd want to do the same with the 86 when it comes haha! Just a few GENTLE laps!!

Entry paid and CTP extension received. All I need to do now is change the oil and filter, lower the suspension, get some wizz bang shocks, get wider wheels, put on some semi slicks, get a race seat and fit a roll cage....and pick up another 50 or so rear wheel kilowatts. :D

Mine's ready as, just fiddling around with the NA getting ready for Sunday's run - was heading out for a coffee but it's raining [well that's what i'm told that stuff is!] so best just stay home

See you tomorrow!!

Hey guys just another question regarding helmets. I have a proper racing open face sitting at home, is that allowed? Or does it have to be a full face helmet?

Ben,
as per email from Compsec earlier this year.

"Things like open faced helmet in open top cars are deemed by almost all motor sports agency's as inappropriate. To this end the 2012 year will be the last year that these will be accepted. "

I'll be lucky to be in brisbane long enough between now and February to use a tank of fuel.

Car now runs on all 4. Will be giving it to a shop to finish due to ever decreasing amounts of time.

12 DAYS TO GO :!: :!:

If you are running at Lakeside on Monday 26 could you please let our Competition Secretary Mark know on the following email address so he has an idea of numbers and can start organising groups

compsecmx5@miata.net.au

Mark will take you name and organise groups for the day, if you are a 'first-timer' that's fine, just let him know you are coming regardless of whether you have paid the entry fee or not. Please don't expect a reply, if you have any other questions please post them here so one of the 'learned Gentlemen' can provide an answer!!

If you are not running but can assist with flags or any other little task, please let Mark know as well - our super efficient marshalls Chris & Wendy are unable to attend on the day

Thanks
