I have always Drooled over ABSURDFLOW gear!!
This is going to be AWESOME!!!!

Thanks mate, i thought of that but i could not see how to remove the glass on these mirrors.
They do not have that plastic lip on the edge that most do. Kind of a one piece dealeo.
I ended up just painting them Gloss Black. Should have them properly mounted tomorrow.

Did a drive by Revolution RaceGear today and grabbed some Roll Bar Padding.

$13 a piece and they reckon it is CAMS approved.. Not too sure on that but much cheaper than the FIA stuff and fits well.

Still need to tie it on and fit the other piece.

Happy bday

Wish my bro would buy me a new turbo setup hehe

HAHA, dude, You know how much i wanted this!!
Way to much overkill for a bday present but it is INCREDIBLE!!

it is the .64 Housing right?

Wish my girl would get me a decent gift, all i get is t-shirts (the watches are nice though)

Happy Birthday mate, I am sure your going to love the new kit. Suli's car "was" a weapon (will be again soon)

P.s that padding may be legal atm, but next year they want it to be that tougher, harsher product.

Some Goodies arrived for me today.

THANKYOU GSLENDER!!

My DIYPNP that G built for me.
BRAIN WHO??

Seriously this guy is a Professional.
I had constant updates on progress.
Built to do exactly what i want it to and even things i do not but Grant assures me i will!
Very different experience to what i went through last time i had a DIYPNP built for me.

Grant also sent me this really cool build sheet so i know exactly what's WHAT!!

Image

I will wait until after this Thursdays AGI TRACK DAY to begin the installation.

Last time i used Innovates lC1 but this time i have chosen the MTX-L.
It appears so much easier to install and get up and running as the brain for it is actually housed in the gauge.

Image

Grant is going to provide me with support for if/when i get in trouble with it running.

Excited to get started!!

I also had my Nitto NT555's put on the car today for the track day. Will be interesting to see if they hold up ok.

Thanks Dweezle - I'm sure you'll be up and running quickly. Tuning it yourself is a cakewalk and something you'll wonder what all the "you should always go to the dyno to tune an ecu" is all about !!

I hope your right :D

Well yesterday at about 4am my brother and i left for the drive to Wakefield Park for AGI's Track Day.

IT DID NOT GO WELL!!
:x :x

We got about halfway to Goulburn and my car was just drinking fuel like crazy.
I could not see a leak or smell anything exterior of the car so decided to just get to Wakefield and sort it out there.
But seriously, like 250k to a tank bad!!

Then about 50ks further along i could just smell that horrible "HOT" smell.
Pulled over again and it appears my radiator had a crack in it right where the bloody taxi reversed into me.
Radiator was close to empty.
At this point i was sick of the car. We dumped it up near a property behind some trees and decided to just go in my brothers NA and leave mine behind.

He had just had a Torsen installed a few days before.
We got about 30ks out of Goulburn and the Diff just started screaming and clunking.

COULD NOT BELIEVE IT.

I swear we where cursed yesterday, I have never had a issue travelling to Wakefield before.

I patched up the radiator and with the help of Highway Patrol (haha) filled it up with water and just kept stopping when i could to top it up.

We just took both real easy, the diff seemed to quiet down under 80kmh.

Took 5 hours to get them home but we made it.

I will pull my engine prob next week and get on with the rebuild ready for the turbo to go on.
I just hope the head is ok.

My plan is currently a budget one.
I just hope the Cylinder Bores are in good enough condition that i can just freshen them up and run the OEM pistons.
I will just replace Bearings and Rods.
Hoping for between 250 and 300hp.

Then further down the track when i know more i will pull it apart again and prob go with High Comp Pistons and E85 only!

If it needs a oversize then i will most likely go with Supertech 83.5mm and Manly Rods.

I wanted to make a lil video of the day with my new GoPro but clearly that did not happen as i was hoping.
Got this far though.
