Of course!

The MX5 Club has never known to be exclusives of fellow car lovers.

Just follow the basic club run rules like everyone else and enjoy the day

I'm sure they would have no issue with it.

I remember a few runs where a couple of Porsches turned up and played well. Way back in the day, maybe when Slammer was club captain and Mazboy was still getting around in his mariner blue NA!
When results speak for themselves - don't interrupt.

Is is ok to join the run at Hexham? I live in Maitland and don't fancy the crack of dawn trip down the freeway and back - it's not a very inspiring road at the best of times :frown:

It's more fun driving a slow car quickly than a quick car slowly.

redna6 II, I live in Newcastle so I might be keen on doing the same thing. I can't fully commit to being there yet, but if I do go it looks like the best bet would be to wait on the side of the road just north of the Hexham bridge and jump on the tail end as they go past.

No problem about where you guys decide to jump on the back. If we get away at 7.00am then we should cross the Hunter River between 8.15 and 8.30am.

You should be waiting from 8.15am and if the run gets to the Shell servo early we will wait until 8.15am provided someone from the Hunter region confirms on this thread that they will be waiting otherwise we will keep an lookout for you between the bridge and the Shell servo without stopping.

If you are running late then meet up at the cafe in Bulladelah for breakfast, see More Info for this run in the Events Calendar on the Club's webpage at http://www.mx5.com.au/nsw/ for details. 8)
