cobalt exhaust

Postby trader » Thu Nov 01, 2012 8:11 pm

Has anyone got the Cobalt exhaust system on their 1.6? from all accounts it seems to be the bees nees of systems for the price - not too loud and no drone. Just need a few local comments from users and best possible source...Moss in UK?

How much is it and what do you get out of interest?

I had a Cobalt cat back system on my previous 1.8 NA and loved the sound of it but it did drone when under load up hills, sometimes to the point where the resonance would almost make me feel ill.

My latest mx5 (1.6) has a racing beat cat back system on it and it's perfect in every way :)

i have the cat back on my na6 turbo. it sounds awesome, no drone at all. its only a tad bit louder than stock but lets you know its not stock. has also made the car a lot smoother to drive.

I have one on mine too, great exhaust for the price. Nice bassy sound, no drone from my end.
