NB8A Gearbox into NA8?

I've got another gearbox on the way out. Operator abuse.

I just want another 5 speed and I've been offered an NB8A one. I'm pretty sure the NB box bolts straight in but I can't find a straight answer anywhere about the speedo pickup.

The NA8 uses a speedo cable running to the back of the instrument cluster. The NB uses a sensor on the box itself. How can I get a working speedo?

Hey mate.

I'm doing the same thing, it's a straight swap. You basically just remove the gear drive attachment from your old box and bolt it to your new NB box. That way you can screw on you original speedo cable.

Just use 2 bolts to bolt up the starter.
