I saw my first scissor door in action on a Merc yesterday.
I reckon they would be amazing on an NB.

You planning on doing this to yours, or just curious?

Yes it would look good but it will be an expensive conversion.

Did you just use "scissor doors" and "look good" in the same sentence.?

Scissor doors do look good... on a Lamborghini
Probably looks really rice on an mx5 imo, but hey if you like it go for it!

After seeing pics of mx5s rubber side up I will always have a rollbar and never have scissor doors.

havent seen a pic of scissor doors on a rolled mx5 but it doesnt take s genius to realise what will happen if it flips on your head. if the windscreen crushes down theres absolutely no way you can get out.

Yeah from memory hinges have to explode for it to be legal... Although am I the only one who just jumps over the door instead of opening them?
