Update: Very happy with the suspension, rides like stock but feels much more tied down and corners much more flatter. Rear has settled a bit more, still a bit higher than I expected but I can live with it.
Have ordered a Sparco Sprint V and a 6 point harness and will soon be ordering a MX5 Plus Tall Boy roll bar.

What turned out to be the reason the suspension sat oddly before?

Workshop had put them in backwards? or something else?

Just hadn't given it time to settle, I talked to the workshop that installed it and they assured me that the right springs went in the right ends. I'm doing a SOTS day on thursday so will double check myself before hand.

Interesting, generally I've found when they settle it's only 5-10mm of drop.

Doesn't matter though, if it's sorted itself out then great!

Had great fun at the SOTS day, dropped my PB from a 1:20.1 to a 1:17.8 :mrgreen:

Got 3 dry sessions then the rain came down so did one in the wet, spun 4 times in that session then decided to quit while I was ahead and packed up and came home.

Ordered a MX-5 Plus Tall Boy roll bar today, my list of things to do to the car is getting quite short. LSD, new exhaust then deciding how I'm chasing power. Current thinking is going NA.

Just had a read of your thread, awesome stuff.
I have an NB8A too, looking to get similar stuff to you. Already have a Sprint V to install, Tall Boy roll bar on the way from MX5 Plus, and looking at getting 6ULs in the near future.

Did the guy up at MX5 Plus give you an approximate date when it would be ready by? My mate and I ordered the same thing a few weeks ago and he was waiting on materials to come in.

After 35,000km and 4 track days the time as come to replace my trusty KU31's.
They will be replaced with KU36's in 205/50 R15.
Can certainly say I got value for money out of them.

Had an awesome day at Wakefield with the NSW MX-5 club, lowered my PB to a 1:17.4.
On the down side my battery came loose on the way home and appears to have shaken itself to death. Got home running on the alternator, as soon as the engine was turned off the car died electrically. Time for a new battery me thinks.
