New wheels look great Dave!
There's a set of 16x8 +20 Rota Grid's for sale on gumtree that I've been eyeing off recently. This just makes me want them more now!

Sure they're different but a set of 2nd hand NB8A wheels are what all the cool kids will be rockin' this summer.
If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.

Gave mine a good thrashing today at the Winton 6 hour. Great fun and a credit to everyone who organised it.

Was busy! Sand down filled chips, paint lip, fit lip, machine buffed car and waxed, finished (almost, works, charges and plays music, needs some foam inside as support and to hide visible innards!) iPhone dock, CF vinyl wrapped wing mirrors.... Phew!

Wow those 2 bumper photos look like an advertisement for pimple cream, the final result is awesome.

Got my MX5 a few weeks ago, tinkering has started!
Fixed my power windows and central locking on the weekend.
Installed a Whiteline rear swaybar after work on Monday;

Re: What have you done today/recently to your 5?
Switched off the engine management light by disconnecting the battery, holding the brake pedal down for 30 seconds and reconnecting.
It's the method suggested on one of the USA forums. Seems to work for about two tankfuls then the light comes back on again. Can't blame the car - I know it's running rich off idle and that this is what the code is. When the light's on I just reckon it's telling me I've got an engine, so that's ok.

But then I wouldn't know I had an engine.

Re: What have you done today/recently to your 5?
Gave the car a clean today; it looked like it was going to rain, so I made it a quick clean (darn dirty rainwater!). But now it's nice and sunny, so who knows how long the cleanliness will last outside at speed
To find out if I have an engine I prefer to use the throttle as an indicator. Usually the more I use it the more I realise my engine is still there

Good boy.
I made sure my passenger side headlight lid/cover/thing was secure before taking off onto the motorway for work
Nearly came off on a very spirited run up Mt Nebo with the gang last night, luckily a few others had tools.
