align aftermarket head unit with dash kit?

align aftermarket head unit with dash kit?

Has any one been able to have their head unit sit flush with the rest of the dash instead of sunken back?

ops, sorry talking NC here.

Single DIN head unit. sitting in the top slot.

The head unit appears to have sunken back into the dash (see photo) and just looks dodgy. Is there a way to slide it forward safely?
