drl;s are mandatory in a number of countries - hence the e markings and legislation.
I would not bother with replacing std OEM incandescent and halogen lamps on a car. The reason is that the std lamps are generally fully functional and low cost. Many motorists go years without replacing a bulb and when they do its very low cost and easy to do. Once you start putting dubious leds on the vehicle it is not compatible with 12v and that has side effects and a need for mods ie resistor for what purpose? I fully agree an led stoplight is a faster light up but virtually all cars now have LED HMSL's - I assume the NC has one? If not that would be surprising.
If you buy an led drl kit it will work fine as it is a standalone set up.
Another thing to consider is that an led in a park lamp or a licence plate lamp will render the lamp illegal ie the lamp is designed for light outputs based on the ADR and certified by the maker.
I can understand why there is not a replacement for the larger wedges in stop and taillight lamps ie the rear combination lamps because there is probably no demand ie what purpose is served for a small or virtually no replacement market? Bulb manufacture is a volume business.
