I'd be up for some of that too.

Meanwhile, great car and a great result. Congratulations.

I got to admit (although I couldn't afford it) I was very tempted by this car, great buy can't wait to see the updates.
If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.

Some people claim to have fitted 15x9 6ULs with 245s to NBs without the need for guard rolling.

I run 15x8 6ULs with 245s on the track and it does get very tight up front at full lock so I suspect it is possible.

Also, needs rollbar :P

I think you mean 225s
245s would have serious issues with guard liners

Whoops, I did mean 225s - No way are 245s going to fit with the guard liners in place and even when removed, you won't get full lock on the front without rubbing.

Thanks Kev!

Not a gift, just happened to arrive today - and it was a bad day, so the arrival made it much better!

On order: stuff to match the last car:

US MX-5 badge
Mazdaspeed badge
Philips 4200K HID kit
Osram +90% high beam bulbs (awesome for the once a year country trip, never used otherwise)
Clear side indicators
Replacement Roberts Autosports Grille

Have rescued the rest off the last car, so looking forward to fitting, with the exception of removing the baby teeth... grr.

Didn't want to that one again, but at least I know what to expect!

275/35/15 Hoosier A6 fit under mine - trimmed front guard liners with free metal shaping from the tyres. Appears to be no issues in the rear. Guards rolled and pulled both end.

Why? It is a horrible looking badge. I ripped mine off and threw it away. Had I known that it is a sought after item, I would have given it away.

Sad to hear the demise of your Se.

Anyway onwards and upwards. I am sure the new car will be a beast.

Thanks Ron, as you say, onwards & upwards - the new car is going to be a beast once I've done a couple of things to it!

Each to their own I guess, I'm replacing the Aussie SE rear badges with the US "MSM" ones - are you referring to this badge?
