HAHAHAHAHHHAAHHAHHAHAHHAHHAHAA Took me a couple of seconds to realise you're having a go at me here lolz
2.25" is for the 1.8L that I will eventually put in, I'm thinking ahead.
But my RS*R is JDM, so you're going to hate it no matter what I say

Exhaust looks great though and so do the intake pipes!

Its for everyone without cams and who bought an overpriced name brand exhaust in 2.25".

Here another, this setup is Goonie's.

VS old exhaust shop job.

Tonnes of clearance for 1.8 diff conversion later. Also, the whole system is tucked up even higher than stock.

I will recommend this exhaust combo to everyone, everyone who heard this agreed that its absolutely perfect, I am so stoked with it! Perfect volume, gorgeous note, just perfect.

Its is also MUCH faster than my car despite the fact my car has a full exhaust and was 150kg heavier at the time.

Hello,

Thought I would jump on board to give my initial thoughts of my new exhaust.

It's has only been one day, but if I had to use one word to sum it up at this stage... Maybe, AWESOME?

I asked Dann to use his expertise and knowledge to build me a custom exhaust. I basically gave him a budget, and 2 criteria - not too loud (used daily and to accommodate for a gf who hates loud cars), and purposeful (I wanted a system that actually made a difference in performance).

We communicated back and forth and settled on an agreed setup, which now included an air intake system as well. All parts finally arrived and the day was set for installation. I was with Dann through the whole process and he would happily tell what was going on and why he was doing what. He encourages you to watch what he is doing which gives me peace of mind that there are no short-cuts. Everything is done right the first time.

A long afternoon later, the setup up was complete and Dann takes me on the maiden run through some familiar back streets.

WOW. The noise. Just WOW. At idle and cruising speeds there is a meaty growl that has an aggressive tone but not too loud at all. If you were at the lights next to me, you would be surprised to find that it is a stock 1.6. It just sounds so much more.

And you know what? It is more. Put your foot down and the combination of the air intake and the exhaust makes this meaty howl that is so addictive. I can't really describe how good it is, but I would have to honestly say it's is one of the best that I have ever heard that didn't come from a super car.

Power? It is MUCH faster and PULLS so much harder than stock, and this was with an extra 100kg in the car (I'm sure it's mostly muscle mate haha).

I know it has only been one day, but Dann has asked me to post any problems that arises publicly on the forum. That's just how he operates.

Yeah, this might sound like a paid for informercial, but credit should be given when it is due. I honestly don't want to share this experience with anybody, as I selfishly want it for myself as I love the fact that no one else has this incredible setup (yet). When someone asks what exhaust it is, I can say it's custom, and you can't have it.

Anyone who is looking to get an exhaust, pm Dann. I'm so glad I did.

PS: I already want to give him more business haha, how about this extended gear sticks mate?

You should make a jig of the exhaust so you can make them easily.

Not yet but Paul can do and will, pauls is VERY racecar, where as Goonies is absolutely gorgeous perfect 100% drone and buzz free bark, I just cannot get over how perfect it is. And it pulled lengths on my car despite the fact that my car was 150kg lighter and already has an exhaust (but its too big).

Wozzah1975 spec. They are unequal length matched pairs, so the matching cylinders (1-3, 2-4) are equal length but are not equal length to the other matching pairs, its gives the system a wider powerband and a fantastic burble. Great price, great finish, throttle response like a boss.

What do you know,

5 odd months back now, on a saturday night at 1am somebody lit my car on fire and bolted, never to be caught.

Well an hour ago, saturday night at 1am, a noise was heard in my driveway.

I bolted outside to catch one of my neighbours, the gentleman most suspected of the first incident, attempting to destroy the security equipment that was put in place after the first incident.

I gave chase and got him 200m down the road after he got tripped on the asphalt and his face spent about 2m on the road before any other body part touched it.

His housemate was directly behind use giving chase on myself 20m back.

Not wanting to fight 2 of them, I stopped and asked what was going on, and acted generally pretty confused ("whats going on... who are you guys, is someone in my yard?"). one said they saw someone else in my yard and acted confused back, thinking hed got away with it. The other turned from tought backup guy to pretend to be an entirely different neighbour, just there to check what was going on and also encouraged me to just go back home and find the person who was in my yard.

I ran back to my house, got a steel pipe Ive had placed since the fire incident. They were trying to escape quickly but calmy until I marched them back to my house and held them at pipe point.

Called the cops. Cops came, did that thing.

Anyways car is barely damaged and I feel some serious satisfaction. 8)

We will see where it goes.

In other news my engine guy gets back from his bucks party Sunday (today-posted at 2:30am Sunday morning) and has agreed to do all the machining for this full forged 1.8 build here on the spot Monday while I wait at 9am so that I can put a 1.8L in a car and finish these few 1.8 manifolds that people have been waiting for, some of which are fully paid, and I thanks those people for understanding.

Good work catching them Dann, I have security camera at our house, twice i've caught someone trying to steal the people mover.

My mates have had suspicious people walk to their front door, see the camera and walk off. I think the cameras are a great deterrent.

With 2T usb powered drivers being so cheap it's easy to store your backup vision in a USB specific safe.

I hope the cops manage to pin an arson charge on your neighbour.
If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.

Yeah. That's brilliant. Any idea what their problem is apart from having a screw loose? Also congrats on that exhaust, I know you do custom bit I'm sure you would have quite a few interested customers. :-)

Nice work Dann! My place constantly has riff raff, my security guard is my bull Arab named Nitro funnily enough.
I presume it will be tricky to pin the fire on them, but they will have to think twice before coming back!
So lets go!

Good work. I hope they're ordered to compensate you. I'd look at moving to a nicer area.
Are your neighbours renters? I would be having a word to their real estate agent...
I would recommend some nice security cameras.
