Just quick question regarding the Yellowspeed coilovers.
How much did you pay for your set + at the height you are at is there much adjustability left?
Looking at getting new coilovers however not sure which set to go. Looking at KWs / BCs / Yellowspeeds

nGtim wrote:Also another question who sourced your set and what was your experiences in regards to getting the item? (shipping time etc)

Cheers

Thanks, i paid $900 for them, as to being more adjustable, the rears are maxed out, even had to adjust the spring pressure to get it more low, fronts still got a lot more in them, i got them from mx5 mania in sydney.

On another note i resprayed the front bar and passenger gaurd, did not get around to doing the wheels and roll bar because the colour i want is on special order and i didnt know i had to wait a few days :( but will be doing it this weekend, also got a pair of bride gias3 replicas which will be going on hopefully sometime this week, as well as a nardi deep corn.

heres some photos from the House of stance & street cover meet from the 7th of october

Thanks for the info Nick!
Just made an order through 'wholesalesuspension' up in Sydney for Yellowspeed dynamic pro's :)
$995 posted to my door (Melb) Pretty happy with that! However going to have to wait 2-3 weeks for it to come from Taiwan.

Bride seats would be a nice addition! However unsure about the replica part of it.. Would they be ADR by any chance?
May fail scruitineering if you ever decide to hit up the track!
I hope you're also getting a genuine nardi as well. Seen some fakes bend infront of my eyes .. Not a pretty sight

sounds sweet, bride replicas are near enough same quality as the real things, but just at a much cheaper price, and yes the nardi is real :)

Practically no aftermarket seats, real or fake, are ADR approved. A scrutineer at the club level is going to do the same thing they would with a stock seat, shake it to see it if moves.

Oh okay sorry about my mis-info. I've been to track days however they have just been AASA events and not "CAMS"
I was just going on the information that I've seen people sell replica bride seats that are "ADR APPROVED"
not sure if it's the real deal though!

Sorry to hijack your build thread Nick! I'll stop it there :)

Hope to meet you at a meet some day soon when I get my car all together!

ADR approval relates to their use on the road and the ease of getting them passed roadworthy/engineering.

NO seats are just drop in legal, ADR approved means that they have a chance of being engineered, where as non adr approved cannot be engineered.

Keen to see pics of the colour coded lip and TSIs, have considered doing it to mine but never followed through on it. Love the fluro orange highlights, shame to see you're selling them off though. Nice car
