150kw na, now that would be something special to drive

What sort of life do you get out of such a motor?

I don't want to have anything major go wrong with it for at least another 2 years. Life span should be fine if I don't try and do anything silly with it. Even the dirty old Pinto lasted 5 years :)

would a build like this at 10:1 comp ratio with a supercharger @11psi work? or would the cams be too big?

Yes Dann, it is alot and quite noticable, but by playing around with the ram tubes it proves it can be fixed with a little TLC and time. Looking at the previous dyno graphs it appears the dip is still there, it is just more noticable now because of the extra power up top. Either way it still has 100rwkw at the dip, and the next few outings are unlikely to see under 6300rpm anyway.

Need more time! :)

10:1 and 11psi, not on pump fuel, but with E85 absolutely (even 11:1)

I would go down in the cam size by around 2 profiles, less duration but similar lift.

To support the power you would need a decent size supercharger, MP90 or possibly larger to make it work properly.

Then you're are talking very serious power numbers. Not sure how the crank/block would cope with continual punishment.

SC14 and a 50% overdrive?

(300+whp, 400 at the crank?)

Wouldn't 50 over drive mean it would top out way early and just end up making heat?

Sc14 is the Toyota ones of the mr2 correct?

SC12 is from the MR2, the SC14 was from the 1GGZE, they also did a 1GTTE . (twin turbo, so yes its a big blower)

The SC12 is 1200cc and the SC14 is 1400cc, about 85 cubic inches.

You would need to drive it past 100% to make the power figures wozzah reckons can be made on these blowers (350whp+ on an extraordinarily efficient system).
