I've got a clunk comong from the passenger rear I think it's brake related as A/I've been under the car and can find nothing loose and B/ it does it--inconsistently -- when I brake.
Also when I push it hard round a corner I get another clunk sound , at first I thought it was the tools moving in the jack well , but they are now wrapped and secured and it still does it.
I'm not sure if they are related,
Any ideas anyone?

last time i had a clunk in the rear end it was the na6 diff. both times
It got worse with cornering and as revs increased.

As someone who has had a terrible run with knocking noises from the rear and spent a lot of time finding them, here is a small list of everything it could be.
- Diff Halfshaft (Uncommon)
- Aftermarket swaybar end links can make clunking noises after some use.
- Exhaust could be slightly hitting on subframe etc, check for shiny spots to diagnose where.
- Rear calliper could be sticking.
- Rear wheel bearing could be dead.
- Rear brake rotor could be warped and hitting on pad.
- Diff Bearings may need changing.

Just started the check, first damn thing I went to--passenger side rear wheel bearing. now I have to figure out how I get it done with only one car damn damn frklit two harold hunts and a bastard !!! and damn

Just curious, how did you confirm or check it? I've got a clunk, clunk but believe it is the exhaust, but would like to rule out bearings - they seem tight with no movement, but my weak girly arms ain't applying much force compared to a 1 ton car cornering hard..... !!

Jack up at the jacking point under the sill until the tyre is clear of the ground , sieze the tyre at 9 and 3 oclock and push and pull in uposite directions , if there is any play in the hub whatsoever , basicly , the bearing's rooted .
You can also grasp the tyre at 6 and 12 oclock and do the same thing if you realy trust your jack , or don't mind a flat hand when it lets go.
Don't sit on the ground and put your feet under the car to do this unless you use a jack stand , or refer to the above substituting 'feet' for 'hand'.
