Here is the bracket i made for my car.

just a steel bar at the moment, im going to make some up out of thinner/lighter alloy. Im still using the standard mount bolts, there seems to be enough thread to secure the mount/seat

the seat can move forward a bit as you can see in the 3rd picture.

Ill make up half a dozen or so next weekend if anyone is keen

I am still working on my own but my tool skills are limited.

Will do, Regies one looks pretty good but it wouldn't fit if you have a bucket seat that pretty much sits on the floor, I think a design like this would work, not sure if you'd need something extra to secure it to the floor though.

Regie, looks like the seat will move forward over the extinguisher with the green one?
Much better than mine which sits further forward.

Here is the beginning of the bracket. Base is what Regie has done, I will use additional angles to extend outwards.

whatever you think is best.. you have the experience. unless the green style bracket gets in the way I don't see the point of making it anymore complex? my passenger seat never moves forward.

Here is where I have got so far.

Using steel bar as a base 2x angle brackets extend outwards and attach to 2 x 90 degree angle brackets.

Then positioning the asssembly to allow some seat travel but most importantly so I can reach the damn thing. I'm not as limber as some of you others so I did the acid test
- extinguisher is in easy reach.
