correct. pretty much a piece of alloy/stainles bar that bolts to the seat mounts.

Re: NC Fire extinguisher Bracket
Yeah I've been working on and off with this during the afternoon.
A couple of notes.
Using 1mm steel bar across the seat and in front of the mounting brackets, means you probably lose 3mm of thread using existing seat bolt. Where could I get longer ones?
The NC front seat mounts are at an angle, maybe 45 deg
There is a hump in the floor on passenger side directly in front of the seat. I have been working on a solution whereby I can have my bracket similar to Regie, but that the passenger seat has some travel.
I did think about it for a while and have come up with something that might work...pics soon. There may be some welding work required for the bracket,,I'll see my local mechanic for that. But no extra holes in the car.

Repco or similar.
I tried a couple of Bunnings this afternoon for the bracket I'm doing but they didn't have bolts with the finer thread (1.25) in the right size, and the guy suggested only automotive places would have it. I walked into Repco next door and picked up a pack straight away.

OK cool ! There's a Repco down the road. Bunnings fruitless for me also.

This is my Evo's Fire Extinguisher mount, these brackets were made by a guy in Sydney and he sold them for $50 each. As you can see they go straight from the seat bolts then contour down the hump which allows the seat to have full travel backwards and forwards.
I'm sure any decent shop could make them or I could ask him if he wants to make some for NC's.
My Mount:
2009 NC2 - Ohlins (7kg/5kg), Whiteline Sways, Weds TC105N (17x8), OEM Hardtop & 2009 987.2 Boxster
